Server-based converters meter bulk jobs because bulk jobs are what cost them money: a file cap, a daily limit, a queue, a paid tier. None of that applies here, because the work happens on hardware you already own. The bulk HEIC to JPG converter on this page has no file size limit and no daily quota.
Files are processed strictly one at a time. That is deliberate: a single 48 MP photo needs roughly 200 MB of memory while it is being decoded, so running several at once is the quickest way to crash a tab on a phone or an older laptop. Sequential conversion is barely slower on one thread and far harder to break.
For very large jobs, expect it to take a while and leave the tab open — a background tab may be throttled by the browser. If a batch of several hundred does struggle on an older device, convert in groups of fifty and download each ZIP before adding more.
